Singapore trip 2015: June 23, Infinite Pool and the search for Kaya Toast

Tuesday was a day we had free for doing touristy things -- the only feasible flight took us to Singapore at midnight on the 22nd; otherwise there were flights that arrived either the afternoon or evening of the 23rd and we risked being zombies on the first of two days of the conference and that would have been bad.

I tell you -- after the 10th hour on a flight, the rest of the journey seems to be like a blur.  I could never sleep on a plane, but strangely I was not super tired -- must be those coffees that I decided not to drink so that I can sleep when I get to the hotel.

It was funny when the company's travel agent mentioned that..

"How come your company is sending you to Singapore?  It's kinda hard to get there from Toronto!"

Singapore trip report!

So I just got back from an epic trip to Singapore!
My employer paid for the airfare because I was sent to Singapore to attend a company conference, and so I asked my boss for a few more days vacation there to make better use of the trip.

The idea of the vacation there is to eat.  Me and my coworker/travel buddy had a list of food that we'd like to try.

I promised myself to photograph every dish we had, and we mostly succeeded.  I'll blog about these soon before I start to forget. :D
